• Technical and usage information: We may collect limited technical information and usage data necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app.

Payment Data

Payments and subscriptions are processed by third-party payment providers such as Apple, Google, or Stripe. We do not collect or store your full credit card details. We may receive information necessary to determine your subscription status and provide access to premium features.

Device Permissions

NeuroExam does not currently require access to sensitive device features such as your camera, microphone, location, or contacts. The app may request permission to send push notifications. You can enable or disable notifications through your device settings at any time. If additional device permissions are introduced in the future, we will request the appropriate permission and update this Privacy Policy when necessary.

How We Use Your Data

We use information collected through NeuroExam to:

• Track your learning progress and display relevant statistics.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Your personal notes and individual learning activity are not publicly visible to other users unless you intentionally share information through a public or community feature. We may use third-party service providers to operate NeuroExam, including services for cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, notification delivery, and payment processing. These providers may process limited information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services. We may also disclose information if required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or integrity of NeuroExam and its users.

Aggregate and Anonymized Data

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide NeuroExam and maintain your account, unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary for legitimate operational purposes. You can request permanent deletion of your account through the account deletion option available within the app. Deleting your account will remove or anonymize personal information associated with your account in accordance with our technical and legal requirements. Certain information may be retained where required by law, for security purposes, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate obligations.

Children's Privacy

NeuroExam is designed for medical students, physicians, and other healthcare professionals or trainees. It is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
